NOTE: More rules may be added as time goes by. Please try to stay updated.
Rules are obviously the statements that keep the game flowing and running s m o o t h l y. They are the basic foundations of what little society is left, and players and hosts alike should be wary of them.
Hosting Rules[]
- You should be mainly active, and when you have to go, tell the entire game.
- Try and make it as fair as possible, don't give Jim a machine gun because he joined first or Sally a vest because she's your girlfriend.
- You may, before hosting, want to prepare for the game; make the maps, the items, and etc.
- You can Co-Host if you want, which allows you to team up and share ideas, concept, and maybe cover most of the time zone.
- Decide if you will do the players in Turn Order, or whenever they send a message.
- 10-15 player is the minimum and maximum, respectively, for the start of the game.
- You may want to decide to have 'Backup Players': Players that take the spots of AFK players should they go absent for too long.
- Remember, this is a game. Make the game as fun as possible. Enjoy it, and remember that you are doing the hardest part of the whole game.
Player Rules[]
- Don't be inactive. Please. It's bad enough when a player is AFK and unable to be interacted with, but it's even worse when you consider that you may be a required vote, have evidence, or may even be the murderer!
- Don't argue with the host(s). Their game, their rules.
- Be creative; don't follow the crowd, go your own way. Play the game you would play it (or whoever you're roleplaying as).
- Remember, this is a game. Have fun, and don't freak out when others may not listen to you or agree with you.
- Role-playing is mandatory, although that was probably obvious. Try not to use info that the real You knows but the in-game You doesn't.
- Don't be completely mean. You can be more or less mean sometimes. Just don't be completely rude, racist, or anything else offensive.
